I specialize in in-app microcopy, onboarding, error and empty states, and tooltips that reduce user friction. I work inside Figma with designers and engineers — content as a design layer, not a final pass.

Who I am

A writer who reads code, sits in design reviews, and pushes back on bad copy — including my own.

I started in BIOS and firmware documentation at American Megatrends. That meant reading engineer diffs and turning them into manuals real users could follow. The habit stuck. I still write best when I'm close to the people building the thing.

From hardware I moved to enterprise change communication at TCS — Microsoft 365 migrations affecting 450,000+ users — and then to product UX writing at HR365, where I owned content end-to-end as the only writer in the room. Most recently I'm freelancing with Trilith, an early-stage B2B SaaS startup, leading their voice, content standards, and live UX copy.

The through line: I'd rather ship one tooltip that prevents a support ticket than a hundred clever taglines.

  • Embedded UX copy into engineering workflows before dev handoff, reducing post-release revision cycles.
  • Led a UX writing review for the HR365 mobile app; all recommendations were accepted and drove a complete UI revamp.
